CHAIFIVE Projects are non-profit projects designed by L’CHAIM Magazine to benefit aspiring writers, photographers, artists and the community. OUR TRIBE
We at L’CHAIM want to help you strengthen your ties to your community by publishing your lifecycle events in our magazine AT NO CHARGE. As a community, we share in each other’s joys and sorrows and are always here to support one another.
MENSCHES OF SAN DIEGO
Mensches of San Diego features everyday portrayals of Jewish Life in San Diego. We hit the streets and explore what makes up our community. L’CHAIM wants to bring our community closer by introducing you to some very interesting people in our own backyard. Mensches of San Diego acts as a community connector to make our large city a little smaller.
JPIX
JPIX is a project to socially connect our community through local events. L’CHAIM has photographers at events and shares the events attendees in the magazine, online and through social media. If you have an event you want us to cover, click below.

OUR MISSION
Build Community
Our main goal since our inception has been to help connect community. Through CHAIFIVE projects we want to give all San Diegans and SoCals an opportunity to shine.
Bridge the Gap
We want to be the main source of news and resources for the SoCal Jewish population. We want to reach the unaffiliated, the shut-ins and the folks who still want to be in the Jewish community, but have no connection through a synagogue or Jewish organization.
Be the Voice
We want the Jewish community to feel like they are being heard. We welcome every medium of information the community is willing to share. We want to be the voice for all Jewish Southern Californians.
